Bridgestone Potenza S001 is a maximum summer performance tire developed designed and built by Bridgestone. It is an original excellent tire for premium high performance sedans, coupes and sports cars. The Potenza S001 has been designed to combine maximum sports performance in wet and dry conditions with low-rolling resistance efficiency. But, like any other summer tires, they too are not meant to be driven in freezing temperatures, such as in ice or through snow. The Potenza S001 comes with an asymmetric design, which combines interlocking tread blocks, a circumferential rib at the center, and a large a outboard surface to enhance high-speed stability, cornering precision and great road steering response. The notches on the shoulders of this tire push out water to the sides and the high-angle side grooves in the ribs force water into the circumferential grooves to resist hydroplaning. The tire's inner structure features a light-weight belt package comprising of twin steel belts that are supported by spirally wrapped nylon/aramid cord reinforcement, which lowers rolling resistance, ensures high-speed durability as well as enhancing ride quality.
